The short version: Banner Bouncer collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads — and no servers to send your data to. Everything the app does happens on your iPhone.
Banner Bouncer is a Safari extension that refuses tracking consent on your behalf. As you browse, it answers websites' consent systems with "no": it selects "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" where a site offers it, responds "deny" to consent frameworks, presses reject on consent banners it recognizes, and sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which tells sites not to sell or share your personal information.
That communication is between your browser and the websites you visit — it is the feature working, not data collection. None of it passes through us.
So the app can show you what it has done, the extension keeps the following on your iPhone only:
This information lives in Safari's extension storage on your device and is shared only with the Banner Bouncer app on the same device, so it can display it. It is never transmitted anywhere. The detection rules the extension uses are built into the app and are updated only when the app itself updates — the extension makes no network requests of its own.
You can remove individual sites or clear the entire history at any time, in the app (swipe a row, or Clear All) or in the extension's popup. Removing the extension removes its stored data from your device.
Banner Bouncer is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Because the app collects no data, changes can only ever describe the app's behavior — never a new use of your information.
